Tervitus!

Pole taas vähe aega kirjutanud.  Ehk ma siis nüüd kirjutan ja joonistan teile veidi.

Haven’t been here for a while.  Well, I try to write and draw to You a little bit.  

Alustame algusest:

Let’s start from beginning: 

Esiteks Liina Langi mustriga “Holstre”

First one is in Liina Langi’s pattern “Holstre” 

Järgmiseks korraldasin Facebookis, Handknitted lace by Ann lehel, loosimise.  Võitjal oli võimalus valida endale kõige rohkem meeldiva mustriga sall ja nii valmiski Kuninganna Silvia” taas kord.

For the next I arranged the giveaway in Facebook, on Handknitted lace by Ann page.

The winner had to choose the pattern she liked the most, and that’s how yet another “Queen Silvia” was knitted.

Seejärel tuli sall, mille mustri on joonistanud Tiina Arusoo.   Mustri nimeks on “Angel”.

Then I knitted the shawl in pattern made by Tiina Arusoo. Pattern is “Angel” 

Kuna elu oli natuke jube valgeks läinud, panin end kirja Arella testkudumisse ja kombineerisin erinevaid värve salli sisse.  Testkudumise tulemus oli “Flowerbed crescent” – shawl.  Sai natuke lõbutsetud.

As my knitting-life was been a really white for a while, I joined to Arella’s test knitting for a “Flowerbed crescent” -shawl.  I took some different colored yarns and match them up.  Just had a little bit fun.

Ja taas tagasi valge lõnga juurde.  Muster selline, mida ei ole kunagi enne kudunud.  Lisaks oli selles mustris see “midagi”, millega ma kokkuleppele ei saanud ja nii ma tegin seda veidi ümber.  Helga Rüütel on ristinud oma mustri Sõbrakuu’ks, minu sall on Sõbrapäev.  (umbes sel ajal ta varrastelt mahagi sai)

And back to the white yarn. The pattern is new for me, haven’t knitted it before.  Though, there was “something” in this pattern, I couldn’t get pass, so I made some little changes in it.  Pattern base is made by Helga Rüütel and has a name like ” Month of friendship”.  As I changed the pattern, I named it “The Valentine’s Day” (as it got done around this time)

Little bit light purple for a change.  “Lily of the Valley”

Ja hetkel viimane valminud sall on Liina Langi “Ingrid’s shawl”.  Taas kord valge.

Last, but not least in Liina Langi’s pattern “Ingrid’s shawl”.  Once again white.  

Hetkel on varrastel veidi suurem projekt, sellest räägime siis kui see valmis on.

At this moment I have a little bit bigger project on my needles, but we talk about it, then it’s ready.

Ma olen ikka kudunud.  Võib olla mitte niipalju kui varem, aga siiski midagi.

Kuna mu viimasest postitusest on nii palju aega, proovin seekord kirjutada lühidalt ja kompaktselt.

Vabandan kohe ette ära, et tegin piltidest kollaažid kuna tean tuttavate hulgas olevat inimesi, kellele ei meeldi kollaažid (mina ise kaasa-arvatud  😀 ).  Lihtsalt ma ei saaks oma asjadega kunagi “ree peale” kui ma kõigist eraldi fotosid hakkaksin siia lappama.

Siit see tuleb, mõned säravamad “hetked” eelmisest aastast.

I’v been still knitting. Maybe not so much as earlier, but something.

As it has been so long from my last post, I’ll try to make it little more compact.

I think I apologize for beginning, as I know there are people, who don’t like photocollages (I don’t like them either  😀 ). But I would never get back on track if I’d try to put a photos of my work separately.  

Here it comes, some great “moments” from last year.

Sall mustriga “Lilleringid liival” (mustri autor Meeli Vent), 100% meriinovilla, roosa.

Shawl in “Floral circles on the sand” (pattern made by Meeli Vent) pattern, 100% merinowool, pink. 

Silvia kirjaga sall, 100% meriinovilla, kollane.

Pajulehekirjaga sall, 100% villa, naturaalvalge.

Siis sai vahepeal üks väike kleit kootud.  100% meriinovill.

Inbetween I knitted one little dress.  100% merinowool.

Piibelehe- sall, lilla, 100% meriinovill.

Siis mingil hetkel tuli mõte teha natuke pitsilisi randmesoojendajaid.  Arvatavasti oli hea idee, sest inimestele meeldivad.  Enamuse olen teinud nuppudega, paar paari helmestega. Pildil on mõned, ei kõiki.

In between I thought I make some lacy wristwarmers.  It seems like a good idea, as people like them.  I made most of them with nupps and couple of pairs with beads.  There are some on the photo, not all of them.  

Talvehooajal kudusin mõned sokipaarid (nagu alati).  Mõned paarid “lihtsalt lõbu pärast” ja mõned paarid vanadekodule, mis meil siin on.  Ja taas kord ei ole pildid kõiki valminud sokipaare.

On the winter season I knitted some socks too (as usual).  Some of them just “for fun” and some for elders home we have in here.  And once again, all of that I’v made, are not on the photo.  

“Lembelilled”, muster Siiri Reimanni uuest raamatust, mille mulle kinkis sünnipäevaks mu vanim poeg. Villa (70%) – siidi (20%) – kashmiiri (10%) segulõngast, naturaalvalge.

Shawl in “Fondness flower”-pattern.  Pattern from the last lace-book of Siiri Reimann, which I got for my birthday from my oldest son.  Wool (70%) – silk(20%) – cashmere (10%) -mix, natural white.  

Siis kudusin ma veel ühe väikese kleidi, lihtsalt lõbu pärast.  Käpamustriga, nupuga ja ilma.  100% meriinovilla, naturaalvalge.

Then I knitted one more little dress, just for fun.  In paw-pattern with nupp and without the nupp.  100% merinowool, natural white.  

Ja taas sall Siiri Reimanni kollekstsioonist, “Kevad”, 100% meriinovilla, naturaalvalge .

And once again shawl from collection of Siiri Reimann, “Spring”, 100% merinowool, naturalwhite.

Idee, mis vajas testimist: kaelussall, Lilleväli, äärepitsina Shetlandi pitside kogumikust üks lihtsamaid.  100% villa, naturaalvalge.  Enda arvates tuli päris kena teine.

Idea, I neede to test: tubeshawl, “Flowerfield”, edgelace is one of many Shetland lace patterns, the simplest of these.  100% wool, naturalwhite. I think it came out pretty well. 

 

Pärlikirjaga sall, helehall (taas kord oli vaja lõnga juurde osta), 100% meriinovilla.

“Pearl pattern” – shawl, light gray (once again I had get more yarn), 100% meriinowool.

Ja viimane kuid mitte just tähtsusetu juhtum: ma sain “kummalise” tellimuse teha sünnipäevakutsed…hmmm, pole nagu minu stiilis käsitöö, tegelikult….

Niisiis, sündis Idee: pitsikaardid.  Päris huvitav ja isegi lõbus ülesanne, peaks ütlema.  Mu tütar ütles, et ma olen hull…aga siis ta nägi neid kaarte päriselus…. seega ma ei olegi tegelikult hull.  😀

And last, but not least, I got an “add” order; to make some invitingcards for a birthdayparty……..hhhmmmm, but I’m not this kind of crafter, actually…..  

So the idea was born:  lace cards.  Pretty interesting and fun task, I have to say.  My daughter said at first, that I’m insane, tho…. but then she saw those cards IRL……  So I’m not really insane.  😀

Ma tõesti ei tea, mis see on, aga ma lihtsalt ei leia aega oma tegemistest kirjutada.

Võtan end nüüd kokku ja kirjutan.

Siit tulevad need vähesed asjad, mida olen teinud.

I really don’t know what it is, but I just can’t find the time to report about my doings.

I gather myself and write now.

So here it comes. Some things I have made.

Jaanuaris sain tellimuse beebitekile.  tegelikult kahele, erinevale tekile.  Seega ma sain põhjuse osta jälle lõnga ja leida ning kombineerida mustreid jne.  Nagu te ilmselt isegi aru saate, aeg-ajalt ma vajan väikeseid väljakutseid.  See oli värskendav.  Lõpuks mul oli kolm beebitekki, aga tellija tahtiski endale vaid ühte.  😀

Seda säravvalget.

I got an order for baby blanket in January. Actually for two different blankets. So I got the reason to buy yarn again and find and combine patterns etc. As You can understand, time to time I need little challenges. So it was refreshing.
At last I had three baby blankets, but the client wanted only one for herself.  😀

This bright white one.

Pildi tegemisega tuli kiire, sest ma pidin selle teele saatma.

Siit tulevad need teised kaks.  Loodusvalge ja hall.

So here are the other two I made.  Natural white and grey.

Kõik need on kootud 100% puuvillalõngast, varrasteks 2.0mm – 2.5mm.

These all are made of 100% cotton yarn, using needles 2.0mm – 2,5mm.

Pärast seda teki-rallit olen kudunud ainult neli salli.

After this blanket-rally I’v knitted only four shawls.

Mul on hetkel kaks salli “peaaegu valmis” – seisus.  Ühel on juba äärepitski olemas, lihtsalt keegi peab selle külge õmblema. Teine ootab, et keegi alustuseks kooks sellele äärepitsi.

Selle viimase nädala olen kudunud põlvikuid jälle…  Alustasin eelmisel neljapäeval ja lõpetasin täna.  Pilti veel pole.

I have two more shawls in “almost finished” -state.  First one already has the lace border, but somebody has to sew it on.  And the other one waiting for someone to knit the laceborder for it at first.

On this last week I’v been knitting knee high socks again…. Started last thursday and finished today.  No photo yet.

Vot selline lugu!  Nüüd ma tähistan Jaani…  Õues on pigem selline tavaline “suusailm”, aga mis siis ikka.

Mõnusat pidutsemist ja katsuge ikka terveks jääda!

So that’s it!  Now I’ll celebrate the Midsummer ….There is this usual “almost suitable weather for skiing”, but what can You do…
