Õnneks täna on veidi viletsam ilm ja ma leidsin aega natukene siiagi kirjutada.

Kuna käsil on olnud vähe suurem projekt, on väiksemaid selle võrra vähem, aga siiski midagi.

Alustagem siis….kusagilt.

Märtsis (11.03) alustasin taas kord ühte pikka projekti.

Kleiti, Karukellakirjaga.  Beez seekord.  Nagu ikka, maadlesin veidi aega mustri muutmisega……kuniks selgus: õnn, kui on mees, kes keerulised asjad lihtsaks teeb.

Mustrit ennast tuli lihtsalt suuremaks ja väiksemaks “joonistada” ja nii ei olnudki vaja kahanduste ja kasvatamisetega palju pead vaevata.

Kuna kleidi vahepeal juhtus nii mõndagi muud, jätan selle sissejuhatuse siinkohal pooleli ja jätkan enne kleiti valminud projektidega …

Kleidi kõrvale võtsin türkiisi värvi “Sofia” salli varrastele.  Ja sellegagi läks aega….

Vahepeal tuli töökohavahetus ja kohanemine ning erinev väsimus võtsid võimust.  Seega tegin mõned “ajuvabad” väiksed sallikesed.  Sai samal ajal lõnga “hävitatud”.

Esimene nendest oli küll täiesti tundmatust lõngast, arvatavasti puuvill, kootus Annis. Seda olen ennegi vähemalt korra kudunud ja tõesti, ei nõua eriti midagi peale lõnga ja varraste.

Luckily today is a bit worse weather and I found time to write a little bit here.

Because there has been a little bigger project going on, there are fewer smaller ones, but still something.

Let’s start then … somewhere.

In March (11.03) I started another long project again.

Dress, in pattern of Pasqueflower this time. The colour is beige. As always, I wrestled a bit with the pattern changing …… until it became clear: it’s luck to have a man, who makes complicated things easy.

The pattern itself just had to be “drawn” bigger and smaller, and there was no need to bother with decreasing and increasing.

Since so much else has happened between the dress, I am going to finish this introduction and continue with the projects, that were done before the dress …

Beside to the dress, I took the turquoise “Sofia” scarf to the rods. And that took time too ….

In the meantime, the change of job and the adjustment came, and kind of tiredness took over. So I made some “brain-free” little scarves. At the same time, I got some yarn “destroyed”.

The first of these was a completely unknown yarn, probably cotton, shawlette named Annis.. I’ve knit it at least once before and really, it doesn’t require much more, than yarn and needles.

Järgmine ajuvaba sallike tuli kootud Novita Venla Nature kirjust lõngast.  Ääärepits kõigepealt, Shetlandi äärepitsi mustriga ja siis keskosa. Kudumise ajal hakkas see värvikombinatsioon mind küll veidi häirima, aga panin silmad kinni ja kudusin lõpuni.  Lõpptulemus oli täitsa talutav.

The next “brainless” scarf was knitted of Novita Venla Nature yarn. Edge lace first, in a Shetland lace pattern and then the center section. During the knitting this color combination started to bother me a bit, but I closed my eyes and finished the knit. At the end result was quite bearable.

Ja veel üks “ajuvaba” sallike. Lõng ikka Novita Venla Nature, lihtsalt teine värvikooslus.

And another “brainless” scarf. Yarn is still Novita Venla Nature, just another color combination.

Siinkohal lõppes “ajuvabatsemine” ja jätkasin kõiki neid pooleliolevaid projekte.

Jõudsin mõlemad poolikud ilusasti valmis ja “laua puhtaks”, enne kui….

This is where the “brain drain ended” and I continued with all these ongoing projects.

I got both nicely finished and “cleaned the table” before ….

…maikuu lõpul vajas Ivika abi, seega kudusin kähku ühe väiksemat sorti Haapsalu salli laadse toote.  Sall on kootud kahekordsest ,naturaalvalgest meriinolõngast ja ebareeglipäraste mõõtudega.  Kuna soov oli saada lapsele sobivat salli.

Noh, projekt oli ka seepärast põnev, et Metspiibelehekirja ma ei olegi enne kudunud.  Juba salli alguses tajusin, et ilmselt sellest mustrist on välja kasvanud ka mu kleidimuster: Karukellakiri.

… at the end of May Ivika needed help, so I quickly knitted one smaller kind of Haapsalu scarf-like products. The scarf is knitted in double, off-white merino yarn and irregularly sized. Because it was wished  to get a scarf, that would fit to child.

Well, the project was also exciting because I haven’t knit the “Wild Lily of the Valley”-pattern before. Already at the beginning of the scarf, I realized that probably of this pattern has grown out my dress’es pattern: Pasqueflower.

Ja kui kõik see oli tehtud, otsustasin kududa ühe lihtsalt valge Haapsalu salli,  Ingrid Rüütli kirjaga (Lehega piibeleht)

Noh, seda ma siis kududsingi, peaaegu terve kuu.  Juuni lõpus sain valmis.

Ikka meriino ja naturaalvalge.

And when all this was done, I decided to knit one, just white Haapsalu shawl in pattern “Lily of the Valley with a leaf” (or Ingrid Rüütli’s pattern)

Well, that’s what I knitted then, for almost a month. By the end of June it was finished.

Once again merino and off-white.

Sellest sallist ei saanudki muid pilte kuna sellele tuli uus omanik.

Praegusel hetkel on mul taas!!! üks suur projekt (ma ei tea ise ka, miks ma neid teen) ja üks sall varrastel.

Loodetavasti ühel ilusalt päeval tulevad ka nendest siia pildid.

Pitsid/Lace

Tervitus!

Pole taas vähe aega kirjutanud.  Ehk ma siis nüüd kirjutan ja joonistan teile veidi.

Haven’t been here for a while.  Well, I try to write and draw to You a little bit.  

Alustame algusest:

Let’s start from beginning: 

Esiteks Liina Langi mustriga “Holstre”

First one is in Liina Langi’s pattern “Holstre” 

Järgmiseks korraldasin Facebookis, Handknitted lace by Ann lehel, loosimise.  Võitjal oli võimalus valida endale kõige rohkem meeldiva mustriga sall ja nii valmiski Kuninganna Silvia” taas kord.

For the next I arranged the giveaway in Facebook, on Handknitted lace by Ann page.

The winner had to choose the pattern she liked the most, and that’s how yet another “Queen Silvia” was knitted.

Seejärel tuli sall, mille mustri on joonistanud Tiina Arusoo.   Mustri nimeks on “Angel”.

Then I knitted the shawl in pattern made by Tiina Arusoo. Pattern is “Angel” 

Kuna elu oli natuke jube valgeks läinud, panin end kirja Arella testkudumisse ja kombineerisin erinevaid värve salli sisse.  Testkudumise tulemus oli “Flowerbed crescent” – shawl.  Sai natuke lõbutsetud.

As my knitting-life was been a really white for a while, I joined to Arella’s test knitting for a “Flowerbed crescent” -shawl.  I took some different colored yarns and match them up.  Just had a little bit fun.

Ja taas tagasi valge lõnga juurde.  Muster selline, mida ei ole kunagi enne kudunud.  Lisaks oli selles mustris see “midagi”, millega ma kokkuleppele ei saanud ja nii ma tegin seda veidi ümber.  Helga Rüütel on ristinud oma mustri Sõbrakuu’ks, minu sall on Sõbrapäev.  (umbes sel ajal ta varrastelt mahagi sai)

And back to the white yarn. The pattern is new for me, haven’t knitted it before.  Though, there was “something” in this pattern, I couldn’t get pass, so I made some little changes in it.  Pattern base is made by Helga Rüütel and has a name like ” Month of friendship”.  As I changed the pattern, I named it “The Valentine’s Day” (as it got done around this time)

Little bit light purple for a change.  “Lily of the Valley”

Ja hetkel viimane valminud sall on Liina Langi “Ingrid’s shawl”.  Taas kord valge.

Last, but not least in Liina Langi’s pattern “Ingrid’s shawl”.  Once again white.  

Hetkel on varrastel veidi suurem projekt, sellest räägime siis kui see valmis on.

At this moment I have a little bit bigger project on my needles, but we talk about it, then it’s ready.

Sügis 2018/Fall of 2018

…siit ta tuleb, selle aasta viimane tööde esitlus.

….here it comes, this year’s last post about my work. 

Juba augustis tuli tellimus mustale sallile ja randmekatele, kirjaks nupuga pajulehekiri.  Kudumiseni jõudsin alles septembri lõpus kuna kõike muud oli nii palju.  Ja teadagi, must ja pimedus ei ole tore.

Valmis ma need siiski kudusin ja nädal enne tähtaega saatsin tellijale.

Already in August I got an order for a black shawl and black fingerless mitts, in same pattern: willowleaf with nupp. As I had some other things to do before, I started this project in the end of September.  Summers light was ending, but what can You do.  

I got them ready and sent a week before deadline tho.  

 

Järgmise töö “korjasin” juuksurist üles.  Nimelt arvas juuskur, et tal oleks halli salli vaja.  Valge tal juba on, aga hall oleks veidi neutraalsem.

Valisime mustreid ja Õnnelehekiri oli sobivaim.

My next work “came to me” in hair salon.  Hairdresser thought, that now she needs one gray shawl, as she as one white already, but gray is little more neutral.  

We selected the pattern and the Leaf of Fortune was suitable.

Vahepeal tuli tehtud veel veidi randmekaid, kahed roosad ja ühed hallid.

Inbetween got done yet some fingerless mitts, two pairs of pink ones and one pair of gray.  

Järgmine ja väga pikk töö oli must!!!! Salaaed/Secret garden . Olen korra enne seda salli kudunud ja jube siis olin kindel, et esimene ja viimane kord.  Ja tookord see oli veel talutavat värvi.  Nagu näha, tuli see järgminegi kord ja lausa mustana.  Muster on sõna otseses mõttes üks suur nupp…. juba minususgusele nupufännile on selles liiga palju nuppe.  Jõudsin kogu salli vahepeal ja kõrvalt üsna mitu muud asja kududa.

Aga siin ta on.

Next and really long project was black!!! Secret Garden .  I’v been knitting this only once before and already then I was sure that is the first and last.  And then it’s color was tolerable.  As it seemed, this next time still came and in black.  This pattern is like one big nupp…even for me, nupp-lover, this is too much.  I got some other things done inbetween and beside this project.  

But here it is.  

Selle musta vahele sattus üks valge Lilleväli.  Lausa nauding kogu selle musta ja pimeduse keskel.

Inbetween this black one, I knitted one white Flowerfield.  Really enjoyable in the middle of all this black and darkness

Kudusin ühe isa printsessile tema palvel tutimütsi ja tutilised labakud.  Roosad.  Meriino ja mohääri segust.

I knitted one pom-pom -hat and mittens with pompoms to one princess at her father’s request.  All pink.  Used merino and mohair together.  

Üks mütsike kaastöötajale.

One hat for a colleague. 

Ja, et aasta liiga vaeva ei tunduks, siis sain veel selle aasta numbri sees kaks salli valmis.

Esimene on valge ja niisama, oma lõbuks kootud  (ikka selle viimase musta kõrvalt alustatud).  Liina Langi Pulmasall/Wedding shawl 

Mõnus ja loogiline kudumine.

And, that this year wouldn’t be so poor, I finished yet too shawls. 

The first one is white and knitted just for a fun (started inbetween this last black one).  Liina Langi’s Wedding shawl.

It was really enjoyable and logical knitting.  

Ja teine on kollane, Meeli koostatud kauni mustriga, Lilleringid liival/Floral Circles on the Sand. 

Olen seda kudunud ühe korra ennegi ja ikka veel naudin selle kududmist ja armastan lõpp-tulemust.

The other one is yellow, in Meeli’s pattern, Floral Circles on the Sand.

I’v been knitting this once before.  I really enjoyed knitting this and love the outcome.  

 

Ja nüüd on tõesti kõik selle aasta tööd raporteeritud.  Ma ei julge lubada, et ma ennast uuel aastal kokku võtan ja korralikuks hakkan, sest aega on ju jätkuvalt vähe.  Seega kui selline seik mu elus peaks juhtuma, tulgu see teile kõigile üllatuksena.

Jõuluvana tõi mulle küll uue ja mõnusa töövahendi, et ma saaks omad asjad kiiremini raporteeritud, aga see alustamine on ju alati see suurim probleem (ei kehti kudumise puhul).

And really, now is every project of this year reported. I won’t promise, that I’ll be nice and write more often on next year, as I still have so little time to get everything done.  So if such miracle should be happen, let it be surprise to You all.  

Tho Santa brought me a new nice tool, that I could get my reports done faster, but the biggest problem is starting(doesn’t apply to knitting).
